#13530 (Paperback Collection) [thousands of authors, artists, etc] 20,000+ SCIENCE FICTION, FANTASY AND HORROR PAPERBACK BOOKS [various places], [various publishers] [1935-2000 with some later additions], Mass Market Paperbacks, First editions, first US editions, first UK editions, first paperback editions, plus selected later printings. My personal [20th Century] science fiction, fantasy and horror paperback collection, assembled and continuously upgraded over more than 30 years of collecting. 20,000+ books [with the "+" being several thousand---I stopped actually counting quite some time ago]. Remarkable both for the degree of completeness [US from 1939 and up, starting with the first Pocket Books printing of LOST HORIZON, the LA Bantam Tarzan---three variant copies present---and Shadow titles, etc, etc, and even including several hundred "adult xxx" titles; plus vintage UK from 1935 through 1960 plus selected later titles, plus a sampling of English-Language editions from other countries, etc; with an estimated 95% or so of all non-childrens/juvenile genre-labelled titles included, plus selected childrens/juvenile and non-genre-labelled titles] and for superior condition overall [the majority of books being Near Fine or better copies, save for normal paper aging]. The collection includes hundreds of signed/inscribed copies from dozens of authors/editors/artists and other contributors; plus a number of both US and UK paperbacks in Dust Wrapper; etc. I seriously doubt that there are more than a handful of comparable collections that exist anywhere in the world, and it is the only such collection that I have ever seen offered for sale at any price. Serious inquiries only, please. [Special shipping charges/arrangements would obviously apply!] SIGNED For Sale

#13531 (Argosy / Argosy Weekly / Argosy All-Story Weekly) [A. Merritt, Edgar Rice Burroughs, George Allan England, L. Ron Hubbard, Achmed Abdullah, H. Bedford-Jones, Max Brand, Murray Leinster, Ray Cummings, Robert E. Howard, Otis Adelbert Kline, et al] RUN OF 1,350+ DIFFERENT ISSUES OF ARGOSY / ARGOSY WEEKLY / ARGOSY ALL-STORY WEEKLY MAGAZINES 1890s-1940s, Magazine Issues, First editions. More than 1350 different pulp and bedsheet sized issues spanning the 1890s through the 1940s. Overall condition is above average, and the run is virtually complete beginning with the 1920s, but with increasing numbers of issues missing prior to that, particularly in the 1890s. [To avoid any confusion, please note that while many Edgar Rice Burroughs issues are included in the above "Argosy" series of magazines, titles such as "Under the Moons of Mars" and "Tarzan of the Apes" are not present because they were published in a different "All-Story" series of magazines specifically entitled The All-Story Magazine / All-Story Weekly / All-Story Cavalier Weekly. The "Argosy" and "All-Story" series of magazines did not merge until 1920]. [Special shipping arrangements/charges would apply]. For Sale

#17486 Lovecraft, H. P. [Howard Phillips] THE SHADOW OVER INNSMOUTH Everett, Visionary Publishing Co 1936, Hard Cover, First edition. [The precise state/issue/printing of this variant has not been clearly established. Nor, for that matter, has priority been clearly established for nearly any of the variants, and combinations thereof, that have been reported]. This is one of an unknown, but reportedly very small, number of copies that surfaced years ago, from storage in the publisher's archives. The text paper is quite white and fresh, as is the paper stock of the Dust Wrapper. The lack of Dust Wrapper illustration may argue for this being the [or at least one of the] earliest Dust Wrapper variant[s], while the whiteness of the paper stock argues that the text block may be a later variant. The casing [that is, the boards] is consistent with most others that I have seen. Book and Dust Wrapper [white paper, no artwork] both have horizontal, mixed case, silver lettering. As New [About Fine] copy in As New [Fine] Dust Wrapper. For Sale
